Product Description

Common use

Vitria is an effective medication for treatment of erectile dysfunction. It contains Vardenafil HCl. The drug is easily absorbed directly into the vascular system thus causing faster effect which lasts for 12 hours. It is recommended in the patients with problems of swallowing as Vitria easily dissolves. Its action is not subjected to influence of high fat foods or liquids. Its active substance, Vardenafil, is a phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor which helps to support blood flow to the penis. The medication does not work without sexual stimulation.

Dosage and direction

One strip contains 10 mg of Vardenafil. Take Vitria at least 15-30 minutes before sexual activity.

Precautions

Before to take Vitria inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, a bleeding disorder, stomach ulcer, or an inherited retinal disorder such as retinitis pigmentosa, allergic reaction to this medicine or any other medicines, deformation of the penis such as angulation, cavernous fibrosis (Peyronie's disease), as well as in diseases that contribute to the development of priapism (sickle-cell anemia, multiple myeloma, leukemia, or leukemia).

Contraindications

Do not use Vitria in patients with hypersensitivity to its ingredients, ones treated with organic nitrates, in patients under 16 y.o., or those who take HIV protease inhibitors such as indinavir and ritonavir.

Possible side effect

Rare side effects may include headache, pain in the back muscles, or joints, upset stomach, sensitivity of the eye to sunlight, high or low blood pressure. If you experience priapism (erections which lasts longer than four hours) immediately seek for medical care because this condition if non treated, may cause permanent damage to your penis.

Drug interaction

Vitria 's metabolism is inhibited by erythromycin, ketoconazole (Nizoral), itraconazole (Sporanox), indinavir (Crixivan) and ritonavir (Norvir). Vitria reduces the concentration of ritonavir and indinavir. In patients treated with nitrates Vitria may aggravate chest pain by increasing heart rate and lowering blood pressure. Vitria is able to exaggerate the blood pressure lowering effects of alpha-blocking drugs (terazosin, tamsulosin, and prazosin, or Hytrin). Vitria should be administered in patients who are treated with organic nitrates for example amyne nitrite or glyceryl trinitrate (also called nitroglycerine) which is also known by brand names Anginine tablets, Glytrin Spray, Minitran patches, Nitrocor patches, Nitro-Dur patches, Nitroderm TTS patches, Nitrolingual pump spray, Rectogesic ointment, Transiderm-Nitro patches. Other nitrite-containing medications are sodium nitroprusside, isosorbide mononitrate and isosorbide dinitrate. Isosorbide mononitrate can be also sold under brand names Corangin, Duride, Imdur Durules, Imtrate SR, ISMO 20, Isomonit, Monodur.
